A hands-on overview of basic chemical reactions!

Making toast for breakfast, watching fireworks in the summer, or simply breathing—our lives are filled with chemical changes. Observing chemical changes helps students understand how the world works. Students combine chemicals to observe the different “clues” that chemists look for to determine that a chemical change has occurred. They’ll also measure heat as it is generated, and observe changes in color, the release of a gas and the formation of a precipitate.
