An introduction to how atoms interact

Learn how ions and ionic bonds help form different types of compounds. Your students will explore such topics as ions and ion formation; valency; ionic equations; and electron shells. They'll even make and identify various ions - on the computer! Each topic area includes an outcome and review section to assure student mastery of key curriculum concepts.
