Explore the essential processes of homeostasis

Graphically demonstrate that a cell's membrane is selective in determining which substances it allows to pass in and out. Using a semipermeable membrane model that simulates a living cell, your class will observe how this process of diffusion allows the cell to absorb vital nutrients and elimate wastes. Additionally, students will investigate the process of osmosis and learn how this passive transport of water through the cell's membrane maintains equilibrium.
