This kit is designed to test your nerves.  This kit causes a light electric shock when the probe plate is held and the wires connected.  The potentiometer allows one to increase or decrease the level of the shock.  Kids love to test each other to see who can withstand the highest levels of being shocked.  Powered by a 9-volt battery, this product is perfectly safe.  This is also a very effective way for kids to learn the function of the potentiometer.
